What Your Gift Can Do
Your gift will support our faculty’s transformative research, our cutting-edge programs, and our students who come from diverse backgrounds. With a contribution to one of our funds, you provide a student with the means to access a WGSS education and complete their degree.

Diane L. Fowlkes Research Award

Help us build this fund to establish an annual award that will provide a graduate research assistantship for one of our master's students. Other Funding Priorities
Endowed Graduate Fellowship in LGBTQ Studies
One of our core program strengths is in sexuality studies, and we seek to establish a fellowship fund to support a graduate student specifically in this area of research. For more information on establishing such a fund, contact Nancy Duncan Porter.
WGSS Undergraduate Scholarships
Georgia State is home to many first-generation college students, many of whom must work their way through college. WGSS students often face an added challenge because they are choosing an area of study that may be misunderstood as superfluous or unpractical. Your contribution helps support an annual undergraduate scholarship of $800, which will offset the costs of student fees and required course texts. For more information on establishing such a fund, contact Nancy Duncan Porter.
