- Dr. Daniel Coleman: Published Refusals and Reinventions: Engendering New Indigenous and Black Life Across the Americas (2024), examining how Afro-descendant and Indigenous communities navigate postcolonial realities. A book launch was held at Charis Books and More in April.
- Dr. Jennie Burnet: To Save Heaven and Earth: Religious Identity and Social Change in the Northern Kenyan Pastoralist Community (2024) was nominated for the Bethwell A. Ogot Book Prize from the Association for African Studies, with the final decision to be announced on December 14, 2024, at the ASA Awards ceremony.
- Dr. Megan Sinnott: Feminist Eco-criticism class volunteered for Trees Atlanta in Legacy Park, removing invasive species. The class included hands-on experiences as well as studying scholarship on new environmentalisms (April 2024).
- Dr. Rosita Scerbo: Authored The Afro-Descendant Woman in Latin American Diasporic Visual Art (2024). She also co-edited Race in the Machine: Blackness and Artificial Intelligence (2023), contributing to critical discussions on AI, race, and ethics in digital spaces.
- Dr. Stephanie Y. Evans: Recently published Black Women’s Yoga History: Memoirs of Inner Peace (2023), exploring the historical connection between Black women's healing and yoga practice. Continues leadership in Black women's intellectual history and holistic health initiatives.
